Perfect Storm

Perfect Storm is a series about the mental load carried by strong and modern female characters.

Written by a group of women writers and a few authors with different visions, we deal with family, separation, but especially with the pressure one can feel when trying to hold everything together.

Isabelle Gagnon, 39 years old, single mother of 3 children, will show that custody can be shared, but that concerns are never-ending. Isabelle experiences daily life in the heart of the storm, in the eye of the hurricane.

To manage this, it’s sometimes necessary to cut corners in education, friendship, work and the search for a soul mate. If it was only her children and her work… But she has to deal with her newly retired mother who now has a lot more time to judge her life, her sister and best friend who has decided to find a man for her, her ex whom she often has to «organize» and her young companion who apparently knows everything about child rearing!

Like many mothers, Isabelle is human, generous, endearing, vulnerable, hilariously relatable… and sleep deprived.
