The people in the small community of Sainte-Piété in the Cantons-de-l’Est region are deeply shocked. First, Lieutenant Mario Bastarache, who has just arrived from Montreal, and the local police officer Nicolas Roy discover a naked baby with red hair at the foot of the waterfalls. And then the distorted voice of a man who called 911 announces: «The salvation of humanity is just around the corner, we rejoice.»

The series focuses on three sisters who have not had contact with each other for 30 years. Justice-seeking journalist Joanne «Joe» Bussières, desperate beauty Elisabeth «Beth» Lussier trapped in a toxic marriage, and successful life coach Agnès Sullivan, who runs a local small business. The sisters want to get together again to shed light on the mysterious incident.
